Bassano del Grappa is a flight area which offers almost all year-round flying: be it just slede-rides for beginners or 'heavy duty' XC-flying for experts (you can get all the way into Croatia/ Slovenia). With around 300 flyable days, You'll get airborne here, even if the whole rest of the Alps is unflyable...
