Takeoff description
By far the best takeoff for cross country in Ticino. Not as known as Locarno-Cimetta but still very good, as it is easy to close triangles when you start from there. You have to BOOK you cablecar the day before, otherwise you will never make it up to the take off in time (april-october).

ATTENTION: TMA of aerodrome 'Locarno/ Magadino' HX. Can be activated within 30 min. Airspaces in Switzerland are a tough subject, get all the info you can get before flying.
