Pilot comments
One of the most serious, demanding sites in the area. KB Is known for turbulent, rowdy air with booming thermals and massive XC potential. Hazards include trees immediately below the launch, true mountain flying with limited emergency LZ options, highly active air, and potential land owner conflicts if you choose a poor valley LZ. Weather can be moderate, to difficult to anticipate due to several factors. Best to be guided to and through this site.
