Takeoff description
The takeoff is on the mountain ridge North of Tirhmi fairly close to a mast which is visible from the town. There are a few takeoff options, but the main one is about 100m East of the junction in the track once it reaches the top of the ridge where there is a small village.(see photos)

This site faces approx South, but there are parts which face more South West. it is possible to soar the ridge in the right conditions, but the site is more suited to thermal flying over the valley when they kick off in the afternoon. At the end of the afternoon on hot days, restitution can be found over the valley.
